About

Romain is an animator from France currently working at Sony Picture Imageworks in Vancouver.

He discovered animation after his computer engineering studies during an introductory course to Autodesk's Maya.  It totally whet his appetite and after spending two years learning all he could about animation through books and websites he got his first job in a French TV studio in 2008.  In 2015 Romain moved to Vancouver for a chance to work on Angry Birds at Sony Picture Imageworks. Since then he has worked on numerous feature animated movies such as "Storks", "Small Foot", "Mitchells vs the Machines" and currently on "Spiderman - Across the Spiderverse". He also frequently works on VFX shows like "Okja", "Infinity Wars", "Spiderman : Far from Home".

Having worked in a variety of different styles, he is eager to pass on the accumulated knowledge to aspiring animators.
