WHAT'S IT ABOUT?
In this course, you'll learn the basic principles you need to start working with a 3d character. You will have already learnt the bouncing ball principles and in this course we will start to explore the foundations of posing, timing, spacing, breakdowns and much more.
An essential course for those interested either in learning 3d animation, or revisiting the essentials by the hand of Animal Logic and Cinesite's Animator Miren Delgado.

We will start this course by covering the essentials to animate any walk cycle. From learning about key poses such as the contact pose, the passing position, the up & down, to the first steps of how to do breakdown poses or in-betweens.
Then, we'll learn how to do a jump in place, find out all about concepts such as pose-to-pose animation, anticipation, timing and spacing. Finally, we'll conclude with a full-body dance animation to apply everything we've learned in an entertaining and fun way.
A live experience in which you'll be able to follow along with the teacher, ask questions and resolves doubts at the moment and meet other artists who are part of our community.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Miren Delgado
Miren Delgado is a character animator from Spain, with 9 years of professional experience, currently working at AnimalLogic, Vancouver.
She moved to Canada in 2016 and since then she has been working at studios in Vancouver: Bardel Animation, participating in projects for Nickelodeon and Rovio, Cinesite on The Addams Family, and Animal Logic on The Lego Movie 2, DC League of Super Pets and currently on a new unannounced show.
